Meika Food Industries Sdn Bhd was founded by Mr Ow Yew Seng in 1977 and over the years it has become Malaysia’s professional chocolate candy and snack food manufacturer.

It had a humble beginning as a small family business and the determination to succeed in the industry over the years, has yielded rewarding returns. Meika Food Industries is now operating from its own 75,000 square feet factory premises at Balakong Industrial Park in Selangor, Malaysia. Meika employs an advanced and fully automated production system to assure customers of quality, consistency and reliability.

Meika's products are widely distributed in Malaysia and distribution has geographically expanded to cover other Asian countries, Africa and the Middle East. Meika’s goal is to eventually have its products also marketed in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the US, as the world market is becoming borderless with trade liberalization.
